April 22: The military backed interim government in Bangladesh has issued an order to restrict the entry of former Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, who now days is in United States and is trying to return to her native country. Bangladesh authority has asked both national and international airlines to prohibit the entry of former PM Sheikh Hasina, local media reported. She has been charged of murder case of four protesters during a riot in October last year.

Sheikh Hasina, went to U.S. to meet her son and daughter and is now planning to return via London. She will stay for a day there. But it seems difficult at this point to touch her native land. Her bitter rival, Begum Khalida Zia is almost done for the exile, official sources reported. There are no reports about Sheikh Hasina’s reactions, one reason being Bangla authority’s order to put down the print and broadcast that reveals her reaction. Her means of communication means have been rendered zero.

“Yes, we did receive phone calls and we're advised not to carry any Hasina’s statement,'' Toufique Imrose Khalidi, Editor in Chief of a news agency, said. “I responded to the emergency rules and acted accordingly, added Khalidi.

Mainul Hosein, Law and Information Adviser reminded reporters that the state of emergency is in force in the country. “Many basic rights have been seized under the emergency rules, quoted Hosein.

According to a statement made by Ministry, “Hasina’s return might create further confusion and incite a dislike among the people. Law and order might deteriorate, and prevailing stability may get disturbed and public safety and economic life jeopardized.''
