UP police failed a murder conspiracy against Himesh Reshmiya

July 26 : UP police (special task force) failed the planning of members of international Gangster, Ejaz Lakdewala’s gang to kill popular singer- turned actor Himesh Reshamiya.

Four members of underworld Don Ejaz Lakadwala’s gang, Anees Radiowala, Namdev, Mohammad Rahim Khan, Irshad Warsi, were arrested from Barabanki district by UP police for alleged conspiracy of murder of Himesh Reshmiya and film director Raj Kumar Santoshi.

Police was informed by their Mumbai counter-parts about their presence in Barabanki.

DGP Vikram Singh also revealed about their plan to kidnap a trader in Lucknow.

Arrested men revealed that earlier too Ejaz had planned to kill Himesh by using Zee TV programme for the entry of the shooter but as the contestant could not get selected the plan failed.

Police caught them on Dewa road near Harohari village with a Qualis and also recovered from them two pistols and two revolvers.

“One of the accused, Anis told that he was paid Rs. 50,000 for collecting the weapons from here which were to be used to kill Himesh” said home secretary Mahesh Gupta. Another told that he gets Rs.30,000 everymonth from Ejaz.

Mumbai police told that Himesh will be provided with two armed guards for his security and they have already provided security to Raj Kumar Santoshi and Sajid Nadiadwala.

The purpose behind has been extortion of money and in case the demand is not fulfilled to kill the target.

For the last three months both the singer and film director were receiving threat calls from the Don. Ejaz Lakdewala was once the member of Dawood Ibrahim now operates from Australia through his agents.

With Himesh turning an actor the popularity graph of the singer has risen upward.
