Indore, Nov 15 (ANI): Police resorted to baton charge to control unruly cricket enthusiasts in Indore on Saturday who thronged stadium to buy tickets for the second One-Day International match to be played on November 17th between India and England.

A large number of cricket lovers were present at the ticket stall since early morning to buy tickets for the match.

However, chaotic scenes surfaced as the day progressed with queue getting longer and enthusiasts becoming impatient to get tickets.

Police had to intervene when some unruly fans tried to break the queue, but it resulted in scuffling between ticket seekers and the security.

To control the chaos police had to baton charge.

Meanwhile, cricket teams of India and England arrived in the city.

Both the teams received a traditional welcome at the team hotel.

India has started the series on a winning note as the hosts drubbed England by a massive 158 runs in the first one-day international at Rajkot. (ANI)
