Nandigram (West Bengal), Nov 9 (IANS) The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Sunday lashed out at the Trinamool Congress and said people would not tolerate it if the opposition party continued to rally against the chemical hub project in Nayachara island.

'The people of Haldia will break their (Trinamool Congress leaders') bones if they continue to oppose the Nayachara project,' CPI-M Lok Sabha member Laxman Seth said at a rally in this East Midnapore district area.

Seth claimed there was no force that could prevent the chemical hub from coming up.

The chemical hub project was moved out of Nandigram following violent protests by peasants led by various opposition political parties.

The government later shifted the proposed project to Nayachara island near Haldia in the same district.
