Two ex-army men held in Malegaon blast's case

Mumbai, Oct 28 (IANS) Two ex-army men were arrested Tuesday evening by Mumbai police in connection with the Sep 29 Malegaon blast, in which five people were killed, an official said.

 

Sameer kulkarni and Ramesh Upadhyay were arrested by the Mumbai anti-terrorist squad.

 

 

The police said the duo had links with three people who were earlier arrested in the case.

 

 

They were brought here from Pune last Saturday and were placed under detention since then.

 

 

They will be produced in Nashik court Wednesday morning.

 

 

They were charged under the unlawful activities act.
