Lucknow, Jan 8 (ANI): In a major political upturn, close aide of Rashtriya Lok Dal Chief, Ajit Singh, Anuradha Chowdhary joined Samajwadi Party here on Sunday.
It is reported that Chowdhary was angered by Ajit Singh's alliance with the Congress Party for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
"Chowdhary Ajit Singh has several times changed his alliance with several political parties and his latest coalition with the Congress Party is not acceptable to our society. That is why I chose to join Samajwadi Party," said Anuradha Chowdhary.
Anuradha Chowdhary was elected to the Lok Sabha from Kairana District in 2004, and has been the Public Works Department Minister in Mulayam Singh Yadav's government. (ANI)
