New Delhi, Sep 28 (ANI) Union Human Resource and Development Minister Kapil Sibal has said that all possible help would be extended to the victims of the building collapse in Delhi's Chandni Mahal area near Jama Masjid, which claimed over seven lives.

Talking to reporters here, Sibal said: "Proper assistance would be given to them (injured) till the time they get well."

"Help will be given to the injured and proper investigation will be done against those builders because of which people died and sustained injuries. We will help the injured till the time they will get justice and we will also give compensation to them," he added.

He also emphasised that the role of the concerned builders would be investigated and penal action undertaken against them.

Earlier the locals had forced Sibal to beat a hasty retreat from the spot of building collapse.

Sibal faced similar ire of the people when he came to visit the injured at the Lok Nayak Jayprakash Narayan Hospital.

Locals stopped his car outside the hospital gate and didn't let him enter the hospital to meet the injured
