Washington, Sept 17 (ANI): Pop sensation Kesha has now turned into a watch designer, as she launched an exclusive new collection in collaboration with fashion brand Baby-G.
The 'Tik Tok' hitmaker, who designed two special watches for the Casio brand, insisted that the partnership was a thrilling experience.
"I've been designing and making my own clothes since I was young, and, as an artist, I design all of my stage costumes," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"This experience with Casio is so exciting because it's my first collaboration as a designer and it's extra meaningful because I wrote my first single 'TiK ToK' on a Casio keyboard," she said.
She also said that the two designs - one leopard print and the other all-American- reflected her 'animal instinct' and her absolute devotion to the look and colours of her country's flag.
"In creating my red, white and blue watch, I was obviously inspired by the American flag because it's a recurring theme in my aesthetic but also represents freedom of speech, a right I passionately exercise in my life and in my music," she said.
"Leopard print is another recurring theme in my look, which I like to wear because it brings out my animal inside. I hope when people wear my watches they're reminded to express themselves always and never lose the animal inside themselves," she added.
The price of the watches, which are waterproof, starts at 99 dollars. (ANI)
