Anne Hathaway poses in ads for Tod's Signature handbags

New York, Sept 8 (ANI): Anne Hathaway has been pictured posing in ads for luxury handbag designer Tod's Signature Collection.

Hathaway, 28, who is starring in the upcoming 'The Dark Knight Rises', is seen lying across the hood of a red sports car, clutching two leather bags, one red and one blue by the chic brand.

"Anne Hathaway is the perfect representative of Tod's new Signature Collection," the New York Daily News quoted Derek Lam, the company's creative director, as saying in a statement.

"What makes this collaboration with Anne so perfect is that not only is she a young actress with accomplished roles to her credit, she is also one to watch for her creative choices," he said.

According to Women's Wear Daily, the bags come in rich, jewel tones, and while a leather clutch will set you back 1,165 dollars, a shopper will cost you 2,165 dollars.

"I have been a long-time fan of Tod's and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection," Hathaway said.

"The designs are classic and the materials are of the highest quality. As a result, they don't grow older, they only grow better - just like a woman," she added. (ANI)
