X Factor's Louis Walsh fumes after Adele's replaced by Sinitta

London, Sun, 28 Aug 2011 ANI

London, Aug 28 (ANI): 'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh is furious at boss Simon Cowell for "lumbering" him with Sinitta as a mentor, instead of Adele.

Walsh had been on cloud nine when he was initially told that the 23-year-old British soul sensation would be joining him on the judges panel.

But he was left fuming when at the last minute Cowell decided to replace the 'Someone Like You' singer with his pal Sinitta, 42.

"He was fuming. He saw it as yet another snub after he lost out to Gary as head judge," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"One minute he was lined up with an international star who's the woman of the moment, the next he was lumbered with an Eighties has-been whose high point was the questionable No 2 hit So Macho.

"Adele was really up for it and had agreed in principle. Louis was thrilled because he absolutely loves her," the source stated.

The source also added how the Irishman was privately livid at being landed with Sinitta.

"Louis was livid, as a decision was made and it wasn't up for discussion," the source stated.

"Everyone was gobsmacked. Louis tried to find out what had changed and if there was a chance they could keep Adele. But he was told Sinitta was on and it was final," added the source. (ANI)
