London, July 31 (ANI): Amy Winehouse's friends have revealed that even though the late singer was keen on drinking and partying - all she ever wanted in actuality was a family.

Winehouse's stylist Alex Foden revealed during a show on Radio 5 that the star desperately wanted to share her talent and more importantly, her love with others.

"All she wanted was to start a family and open a singing school - the price of fame was hard for Amy," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

Foden revealed how she wanted to start the family with Blake Fielder-Civil.

"That can never be taken away and that was quite clear to see," he added about the unbreakable bond between the two.

"Nobody can describe to you that feeling unless they have been that dangerously in love.

"Her and Blake were thick as thieves, she loved him. It was everybody else that didn't and the same with me and Blake, Amy surrounded herself with people that were not good for her," he stated.

Another close friend of Winehouse and former backing singer, Zalon Thompson also claimed that she always wanted to be a mother.

"She actually wasn't really interested in the whole celebrity world she was more into being a housewife singing in bars and thinking about children," he added. (ANI)
