Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), July 17 (ANI): Three labourers were killed and 15others werwe injured as an under construction building collapsed in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, over the weekend.
The four-storey building was under construction and it is feared that several people are still trapped inside the rubble.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital. Most of the labourers belong to Madhya Pradesh.
According to police, the persons responsible for the collapse were absconding and a complaint would be lodged against the firm responsible for constructing the building, under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.
Rescue teams are still working at the site. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, an Air Force disaster management team and other agencies are also engaged in rescue operations. (ANI)
