Lashkar militant killed in Doda

Doda (J-K), May 25 (ANI): A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was killed in a fierce gunbattle with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda District on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off regarding movement of around 4-5 LeT militants in Gundana forests of Koat area, army and police last night launched a joint operation.

Seeing the search party approaching towards them, the militants fired on the party, which was retaliated in which Lashkar militant identified as Mohammad Ishad Lone alias Munnazil was killed.

Ishad was one of the top most wanted militants in the state. (ANI)
