London, Oct 4 (ANI): Benefit scroungers have topped the UK list of '100 most annoying things for 2008.'

The Lactofree survey for the most irritating things this year has claimed that people in UK have high disregard for benefit scroungers, followed by the credit crunch, which stands at the second place.

Irritating tailgaters claims the third spot, while those much-hated cold callers take the fourth position in the poll.

People who read over your shoulder make many Britons furious and are standing at the fifth position.

And ironically, Prime Minister Gordon Brown also features high above in people's hate-list, and has been placed at number six.

At number 7, is Fiona Phillips-the 47-year-old breakfast presenter who is known for her cringe-worthy interviews, especially her on-screen gaffes. ritons have claimed that being bloated makes them cringe a lot, and have thus ranked it at the eighth position.

Rounding up at number nine and ten are rising fuel prices and falling house prices respectively.
