Michelle Obama has new stylist?

London , Thu, 14 Apr 2011 ANI

London, Apr 14 (ANI): US First Lady Michelle Obama is rumoured to have changed her stylist, replacing Meredith Koop, who has been working for her, with somebody else.

Designer Peter Soronen, whose creations are regularly worn by Michelle, 47, revealed that Koop, 29, is "gone already".

"We heard that she's gone already. So I'm not even sure who it is right now," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying in a panel discussion at the New York Public Library.

Ellen Carey, who manages Soronen's wholesale trade, told New York Magazine that she had also heard the same rumour. You never know. Ikram might be back," she said in reference to Chicago boutique owner Ikram Goldman, who worked in an unofficial capacity as a stylist for Michelle for many years, sending designer pieces from her store.

"I don't think their relationship will ever end," she continued.

"Ikram gives 100 or 150 percent whenever she does anything, so I think she had to cut back to manage whatever next chapter she's taken in her life. But I don't think we've seen the end of Ikram," she stated.

But Carey also added that this theory was just speculation, and Goldman already has her hands full having just become a mother to twins, as well as preparing to open a new flagship boutique. (ANI)
