Coronavirus Scare Continues as Multiple Nations Witness Major Threat

Coronavirus is still strengthening its grip in South Korea and many other countries, infecting more than 83,000 people worldwide. A host of new countries have confirmed the first cases of infection, including New Zealand, Lithuania and Nigeria. China, where the virus outbreak first occurred has stated that the number of infected people have surpassed 78,000, while the death count has risen to 2788. Scientists have said that corona virus can reoccur in patients who have been already treated, this has embarked a new fear in patients and people staying in affected areas. The dangerous corona virus can lead to pneumonia and that only demonstrates the power of this deadly virus. Infected people who got treated can again get affected by corona virus as it is very difficult to develop antibodies. Scientists from all over the world are finding it very tough to collect important information about the virus.  

Online shopping giant Amazon has declared that they are seizing all operations in China that includes travelling purposes. Amazon has also urged its employees to not visit the country till conditions get better there. The Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson has said on his debut television appearance that corona virus is government's prime concern and they working towards putting an end to its spread. News reports from Iran suggests that at least 210 people have already died due to the virus, but official statements from health ministry differs, they have disclosed a figure of 34 deaths and 388 cases of infection. There have 888 confirmed cases of corona virus infections in Italy as of now, among which 46 have successfully recovered and 21 have died. Bill Gates has requested wealthy nations to help countries in Africa and South Asia to restrict the widespread virus. US health officials has disclosed lawmakers that the country is in need of more advanced testing resources to counter the corona virus. The global stock market is at stake, as the US health officials are not doing enough to secure the nation from the massive virus outbreak. 

The Chief of World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said, that there is a great risk ahead of us, and a global outbreak of corona virus can happen anytime. The level of risk has been raised from high to very high in recent days, and the WHO chief has urged every nation to take required measure to counter the outbreak. A team of WHO members will arrive in Iran very soon. The President of St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank James Bullard said that further reductions in interest rates may happen if the corona virus outbreak becomes a worldwide pandemic. Various reports suggest that the corona virus has mostly spread within family members. China has seen multiple cases like this, where a single household has been under attack. India has managed to stay immune to this virus due to their high scrutiny at all ports. The three people who were infected has also been released after absolute cure. So far India performed much better than other countries to secure their citizens.
