Delhi SC will hear a plea file by Vodafone India against Reliance Jio's free data and talk time. Reliance Jio is offering unlimited data and talktime to its customer for free. Vodafone India filed a plea alleging that the TRI had failed to prohibit its tariff order.
Earlier on January 30, Vodafone India moved the Delhi High Court in this regard.
Reliance Jio is offering free data and voice plans to customers in India over 4G network. Reliance Jio customer based is increasing very fast and it was reached 72.4 million by 31st December 2016.
Reliance extended its free plan till March 2017 which included old and new customers.
Recently Reliance Jio introduced Rs. 99 plan post March 2017. Reliance Jio's Rupees 99 Prime Member will be for the data and the voice calls will be still free.
Today, Delhi SC is hearing a plea filed by Vodafone India against Reliance Jio's plan.
