If you have been in search of a budget friendly device, you are in for a treat. Reports have it that Blu - a US based smartphone manufacturer has launched its new smartphone, the Vivo 5R. So, along with the wide range of Chinese smartphones which are available in the market, now you have some really good options coming your way from the international markets too.
The device in talks here has been priced $199.99 in the US market which in the Indian currency would be something around Rs. 13,500 for its unlocked version. Sources further stated that the device is going to be made available on Amazon and Best Buy in the US.
Blu's latest flagship supports 4G LTE and is attuned with AT&T, Cricket, T-Mobile MetroPCS, and other networks. Though the launch has happened in the US, Blu has not yet confirmed if the device will be released in other countries too.
Features And Specifications
The Blu Vivo 5R comes with a metal body and fingerprint scanner at the rear panel, its fingerprint sensor also has encrypted file management system, and even has DTS Surround Sound. As for display, the new device houses 5.5-inch full-HD display with curved glass. It measures 8.1mm and is said to be operating on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moreover, Blu Vivo 5R is backed by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor along with Mali-T720 graphics GPU and 3GB RAM.
Talking of the camera feature, it has been revealed that Blu Vivo 5R sports 13MP camera with autofocus. It is decked with Sony IMX258 sensor, LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and an f/2.0 aperture.
Not just this, the device has some more camera features to boast of. It is said that it will have other features such as the smart scene, HDR, professional mode, text recognition, smart scan, gif, time-lapse, mood photo, night, and PicNote. For selfies, the device also has 8MP front-facing camera. In terms of storage, it is decked with 32GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 64 GB through microSD card.
As for the connectivity features, Blu Vivo 5R support Wi-Fi, 3G, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and A-GPS, other than 4G LTE.
You can buy this latest device in the shades of Slate Grey and Lush Gold. Supported by a 3150mAh battery, it measures 154.3x75.6x8.1mm and weighs 161 grams.
