Vivo Launches Its X7, X7 Plus: Here's What You Need To Know!

Thanks to many of the Chinese smartphone makers, worldwide we have a plenty of options to choose from when it comes to buying a budget device with premium features.

Following the line of its counterparts, Chinese technology giant Vivo unveiled two of its long rumored smartphones, X7 and X7 Plus in Beijing on June 30.

This novel series of X7 and X7 Plus from Vivo comes with almost similar hardware, but vary in three main aspects which include screen size, battery and main camera. X7 has 5.2-inch display, 3,000mAh cell and a 13MP camera. X7 Plus has 5.7-inch screen, a 4,000mAh battery and superior 16MP camera on the rear. Other specifications are almost same for the devices.

Another striking fact thing about X7 series is that they have the Apple iPhone 6S series inspired design language which calls for an all metal-clad body with curved corners. The devices have white antenna lines on the back that's similar to the Apple device.

Other predetermined features are full HD super AMOLED display with physical home button that also acts as a fingerprint sensor. The two are backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core CPU and run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Funtouch v2.5.1 OS, 4GB RAM and have 64GB inbuilt storage.

The primary aspect of the novel Vivo X7 series is the selfie camera. It comes with 16MP shooter with a broad collection of beautification tools to improve the picture. Moreover, X7 series supports 4G-LTE (Cat. 7) with additional support for Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, OTG, A-GPS. The two variants are available in Champagne gold and Rose gold.

Price & Availability

The 5.2-inch Vivo X7 is all set to hit stores in China on July 7 for ¥2,498 (approximately $375/€338/Rs. 25,440). It will be made available in champagne gold and rose gold colour options. The release outside China is not known yet.

The phablet model 5.7-inch X7 Plus is said to be released in the following week that is on July 15. Sources state that Vivo will announce its price during the launch as for now, nothing is known about it.
