New Delhi, Sat, 18 Jun 2016 NI Wire

OnePlus 3, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) Or Google Nexus 6P: Here's The Best One To Buy. Here we are discussing the price, features and specifications of these two mobile phones.

OnePlus has launched its much-talked about "flagship killer" OnePlus 3 which is available for a sum of Rs. 27,999 ($399 in United States and £309 in the U.K.).

It's being dubbed as one of the most excellent device currently available in the market. However, the things aren't going to be that easy for OnePlus 3 as it will have to face tough competition from the likes of more popular devices such as Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) and Google Nexus 6P which are also available currently and are really going strong.

If we have a look at their price graphs, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) costs Rs. 29,900 ($390), whereas the Google Nexus 6P is priced at Rs. 39,999 ($420). And at this price bracket, they will surely give OnePlus3 a strong competition.

So, let us have a detailed look into the specifications of each and find out which device is more competent.

To begin with, at the display front we have newly launched OnePlus 3 sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 1,920x1,080 pixels (401 ppi pixel density) resolution. As for Galaxy A7 (2016), it comes with 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). Google Nexus on the other end comes with 5.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (518 ppi pixel density).

Processor and Software

At the software and processor front, OnePlus 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor and it runs the Android Marshmallow. On the other end, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Google Nexus 6P is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Moving on, OnePlus 3 sports 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM but it has got no expandable storage because the device lacks microSD card slot. If you talk about the Google Nexus 6P, the device sports 32/64/128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB through microSD card and has 3GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) comes with a 16GB internal memory which is also expandable up to 256GB and 3GB RAM. Guess, OnePlus 3 lacks in the storage department as Google Nexus scores more here.

Next we have the camera, where OnePlus 3 sports 16MP Sony IMX 298 Sensor primary camera backed by features like f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and 1.12 µm, and for selfies, it comes with 8MP Sony IMX179 front-snapper with 1.4 µm and f/2.0 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) on the other end comes with 13MP major camera which has f/1.9 aperture, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and LED flash, and for selfies it has 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture. The Google Nexus 6P sports a 12MP main camera with 1/2.3' sensor size, 1.55µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and HDR, an 8MP front-snapper with f/2.4 aperture.

Newly released, OnePlus 3 comes packed with a 3,000mAh battery that has the quick charge technology which is dubbed as Dash Charge (5V 4A). As reported, the Dash Charge can charge the phone from zero to 60 percent just within 30 minutes. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) on the other end comes powered by a 3,300mAh with fast charging ability, and Google Nexus 6P has a 3,450mAh battery.

Having gone through the detailed specifications of each, we can say that Google Nexus 6P sports a superior display and as compared to the other two. The Galaxy A7 (2016) too has some strong specifications. And as for OnePlus 3, it stands out with improved processor, camera and battery with Dash Charge technology.
