This novel flagship from Sony was unveiled in September and has an MRP of Rs. 51,990. Those who pre-booked the device are entitled to receive free Sony SWR30 SmartBand, which is worth Rs. 8,990.

What You Need To Know About Xperia XZ?

The Sony Xperia XZ has been in news ever since its big launch. The device has its major highlight in the fact that it boasts of not one or two but 3 main camera sensors. As per Sony, this CMOS sensor is capable of tracking and predicting the movement of objects which are in the frame, which apparently cuts down any chance of blurred images.

Other than this, Xperia XZ also has laser autofocus sensor which smoothes locking focus on the objects, particularly when camera is being used under low-light conditions. Moreover, the RGBC-IR sensor also aims to give precise color reproduction. Furthermore, these features comes supported by 6-element f/2.0 Sony G lens, and a 23-MP Exmor RS sensor. Also, it has Sony's own 'Bionz for mobile' image processor. The device even offers manual control on focusing as well as shutter speed.

Moving on, for selfies, the Xperia XZ brings in a 13-megapixel wide-angle front camera which is decked with an Exmor RS sensor. This one happens to be 2.6 times bigger than the kind of selfie cameras we normally see in other devices.

Sony Xperia XZ comes certified by IP68 that makes the device a dust and water resistant piece. Moreover, there is a 5.2-inch full-HD display which has the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

The device model which has been launched in the Indian market comes with hybrid dual-SIM unit, which extends support for 4G VoLTE on both SIMs. In addition, this variant even has 64GB of inbuilt storage, weighed against the 32GB which is available on single-SIM variant. It is powered by the Snapdragon 820-and has 3GB of RAM. It also has USB Type-C connectivity, and is backed by a 2900mAh battery.

It is notable that Xperia XZ was first unveiled at IFA 2016, and since then people have been raving about its surprising features. The device is a high-end smartphone that is designed for the masses, if we can put it across this way.

If you are someone fond of high-end premium devices, Sony Xperia XZ certainly proves to be a class device. Its fate in the market can only be decided once the final analysis is made in terms of its sale. For now, the device is enjoying all the attention amidst the festive season and is competing with similarly priced device helmed by the likes of Samsung and Apple.
