When director Faisal Saif's upcoming comedy flick Main Hoon Rajinikanth opened another card of surprise for Trade and Media about Laughter Challenge winner Sunil Pal enacting a spoof on Arvind Kejriwal from Aam Aadmi Party, insiders claimed that Kejriwal not being happy about his spoof!
Sunil Pal is going to be seen in the get-up of Aam Aadmi Party's slogan cap sign but the makers have changed the cap from "Aam Aadmi" to "Khaas Aadmi" to avoid any legal hassles. Sunil Pal's character in the film is also named Arvind and in the film he is termed as a "Flop Party" worker.
"Main Hoon Rajinikanth is a decent spoof filled with entertainment and we do not hurt any sentiments or any feelings of any community or whomsoever. Our intention is only to make people laugh and we are trying our best to do that. We are Film makers, we are not the Law who states who is good or bad. The character which Sunil Pal plays does have few inspirations but it does not hurt any party or any person. In Main Hoon Rajinikanth, Sunil Pal will do what he is best in doing at - make you laugh!" said Faisal Saif.
Main Hoon Rajinikanth stars noted South Indian villain Adithya Menon along with Kannada sex siren Kavita Radheshyam. The film also stars Reema Lagoo, Smita Gondkar, Ganesh Yadav and Shakti Kapoor. The film is written and directed by Faisal Saif under Varsha Production.
Main Hoon Rajinikanth will hit the theatres on 5th September, 2014.
