X-Men Days of Future Past holds very strong in its 2nd weekend! The spectacular 3D film collects RS 7.2 crore. Fri -1.6, Sat- 2.7, Sun-2.9 taking the grand total to RS 33.8 crore rock steady.
The X Men craze had resulted in a tremendous opening for the flick with a phenomenal weekend of RS 16.6 Crores net!! (23.7 Crores gross)
After a superb paid preview collection of RS 60 lakhs on Thursday, the high octane superhero flick garnered RS 4.5 Crore on Friday, RS 5.4 Crore on Saturday and RS 6.1 Crore on Sunday.
X Men Days Of Future Past notched the 2 nd Biggest Hollywood Opening of the year after The Amazing Spiderman 2 in spite of tough competition from Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan 3D, Manam (Biggest Telugu film of 2014) and Heropanti in Hindi.
Critical acclaim for the film has been overwhelmingly positive across the globe, and with the hardcore Xmen fans as well as the non-franchise movie lovers giving the movie a thumbs up, the film looks all set to dominate the weekend at the box office.
