It was the launch of Rude Lounge at Powai and the 1000-odd crowd thronged the place that was vibrating with foot-tapping music, fire bartending, amazing food and celebs who enjoyed the fare as much as the crowd.
Hosts Harpreet Singh Ahluwalia and Adesh Shetty were at their hospitable best with music, dance and some amazing foot-tapping music making the evening so very special.
Celebrated dentist Dr Mukul Dabholkar accompanied by artist daughter Sasha Dabholkar arrived at the same time as actor Richa Sony, followed by Flora Saini. Director Akash Aditya Lama. Lesle Lewis walked in soon after, as did Manmeet Singh of Meet Bros with Karishma. Vineet Rai. Purnima Lamchhane and Viraj Trivedi were seen chatting with Arpana Ahluwalia while Manmeet was greeted with loud applause when Baby doll hai sone di played again and again at audience request.
Said Manmeet, "I simply love the crowd here. And I was simply touched by the response to our songs."
Lesle Lewis agreed, posing for pictures with fans, "the energy of this place is contagious and the ambience has the same vibe. I am sure this is just the beginning."
Dr Dabholkar lauded the entrepreneurs' foresight. As for Harpreet Ahluwalia and Adesh Shetty, they simply smiled and took the compliments in their stride.
