Pochampally Handloom park organized Pochampally IKAT art Mela- a 7 days handloom products exhibition at PV Town Hall, Main Road, Kakinada. The exposition will be up to 18 th June 2014.
Bhargavi,Tollywod Actress (Premakada chitram, movie fame) inaugurated the Mela."It’s glad to see various apparel, particularly designer Fabrics, silk and cotton sarees, to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs"said Bhargavi. "Platforms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed handloom handmade cotton, silk wear & exclusive home textile" she added.
"Textile designers & World famous weavers of Pochampally, presenting their designer saris and appearls, handicrafted designer sarees, dress materials, handbags." A colour ful range of fabrics like home textile to apparel fabrics, stoles , scraves, and sarees in silk and Cotton, duppatas, table mats, covers, cotton shirts and Kurtis many more On display"’he added.
