'X Men Days' Bags 2nd Biggest Hollywood Opening of the year

This years most anticipated 3D extravaganza, X Men Days Of Future Past has released over the weekend in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and has already unleashed its power at the Box Office.

The X Men craze has resulted in a tremendous opening for the flick with a phenomenal weekend of RS 16.6 Crores net!! (23.7 Crores gross).After a superb paid preview collection of RS 60 lakhs on Thursday, the high octane superhero flick garnered RS 4.5 Crore on Friday, RS 5.4 Crore on Saturday and RS 6.1 Crore on Sunday.

X Men Days Of Future Past has notched the 2nd Biggest Hollywood Opening of the year after The Amazing Spiderman 2 in spite of tough competition from Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan 3D, Manam (Biggest Telugu film of 2014) and Heropanti in Hindi .

Critical acclaim for the film has been overwhelmingly positive across the globe, and with the hardcore Xmen fans as well as the non-franchise movie lovers giving the movie a thumbs up, the film looks all set to dominate the weekend at the box office. Bollywood personalities too such as Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor etc who have caught the film at early screenings have raved about the movie.
