Storyline
In the distant future in Chicago city inhabitants of the city are divided into five distinct factions according to the types of their personality. Beatrice Prior (Tris in the film) discovers herself not belonging to any of these factions as per her personality traits meaning she is a divergent. Now the tension mounts between the group of Divergent and the gross society divided into solid factions or types and divergent people are increasingly pose danger for the society in general. How Tris and his close allies will find what it makes divergent dangerous to save society from a potential doom that makes a thrilling narrative and told in an enigmatically futuristic manner without making it too glossy and hi-tech. The movie besides its so called absorbing entertainment value as a thriller offers also a grave social commentary and futuristic insight on the destiny of individual differentiation among the gross social types.
