Speaking of gems and royalty, we recently spotted actor Poonam Pandey at the photo shoot for an international jewelry brand. The actress was dressed in royal attire and with matching regal Jewellery portrayed the sight of a princess.
The Photo shoot was done by ace Bollywood photographer Hitesh Kaneria and the gem necklace around Poonam's neck looked like it came right from the sets of Jodha Akbar. The regal chocker reminded one of a similar piece that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore in the period film starring Hrithik Roshan.
The royal green, rich reds and dazzling stonework resembles a combination of Mughal and Rajasthani artistry.
When we quizzed Poonam, she remarked, "I have always been fascinated by the royal attires that Queens and Princesses always wore. And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did a fabulous job in Jodha Akbar as the Queen. If ever I was offered a similar role in a period film or a historical bio, I would grab it with both hands."
Poonam portrays the grace and élan of a princess and the attire fits her like it was made just for her. Let's hope we get to see more of the Princess avatar of this rising star.
