Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim has been engaged to Malayalam Fahad Faasil and both are all set to tie the knot in August this year.
Fahad's father Fazil made the official announcement saying that the decision was taken by both the families on Sunday.
Fahad's mother Rozina said that the marriage will be held in the state capital as the girl hails from there and it will be in August.
Fahad as well as Nazriya shared their happiness through their Facebook pages.
Nazriya (19) and Fahad (30) is an arrange marriage. According to Nazriya her family members initiated the talk and soon both were introduced and fell in love and agreed for the marriage. Fahad's family has known Nazriya since she was a child.
Fahad feels meeting Nazriya has changed his life completely. He even agreed for a traditional marriage which he thought was not possible before.
Rozina and Fazil say that they have no say on whether Nazriya acts or not after marriage and it is for the couple to decide however Nazriya feels she has not decided about it yet.

In recent times, Fahad has become a bankable star with hits like "Akam", "Chaappa Kurishu", "22 Female Kottayam", "Diamond Necklace" and "Annayum Rasoolum".
He started his career as a child artist with "Pappayude Swantham Appoos" released in 1992 and made her solo debut his dad's film "Kaiyethum Doorath". The film was a flop.
Fahad made a comeback in 2009 and since then has never looked back.
Nazriya also started her acting career as a child artist with director Blessy's "Palunku" in 2006 and turned into a lead actress with "Maad Dad" and later featured in films like "Neram" and "Naiyaandi".
