UPSC changes pattern for Civil Service Exam

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has changed the pattern for the Civil Service (Main) Exam 2013, where candidates will now provided consolidated question paper-cum-answer book to answer the questions within the space provided.

Aspirants will now require writing the answers of the questions below the questions within the space provided in the same booklet. Moreover, the answers written beyond the space provided will not be considered for evaluation.

UPSC has also intimated the candidates via a note regarding the changes in the answer pattern. For convenience, UPSC has also released sample question papers at its official website at: www.upsc.gov.in, where candidates can get an idea about the upcoming UPSC Civil Service 2013 Exam pattern.

The UPSC since 1977 has for the first time changed the model of the examination, which will now focus on accuracy and precise answers which will have be written in 25, 50, 75 and 150 words.

Moreover, the main surprise for the candidates appearing for the Civil Service examination will be the result as the question papers will have to be submitted after the exam and they will not be able to pre-evaluate their answers.
