Trailer of Once upon a time in Mumbai Again starring Askhay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonaskhi Sinha has been released. After almost three years of wait, Director Milan Luthria has come up with the sequel of his gangster based movie “Once upon a time in Mumbai”, which released in the year 2010.
Audiences gave a very positive response to the original film and it was declared a super-hit film of that year.
This time “Once upon a time in Mumbai Again” has totally a fresh star cast including Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre in lead roles. This movie is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
The story of this movie rotates around underworld scenes. The character Shoaib Khan in the movie played by Akshay Kumar is loosely based on Dawood Ibrahim. His love interest Yasmin is played by Sonakshi Sinha in the movie.
Right after the announcement of this sequel by producer Ekta Kapoor, the movie started creating news mostly controversies.
Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor were the original choice for lead roles as Emraan played the same character in original movie “Once upon a time in Mumbai” but both were replaced by actor Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha due to some reasons.
However, it was also rumored that Kareena doesn’t wanted to act with actor Emraan Hashmi.
The other lead character of “Aslam” was to be played by Shahid Kapoor but later he was also replaced by actor Imran Khan.
This movie is slated for an Eid release on 08 August Again013 which again made the news as Director Rohit Shetty is coming back with his movie “Chennai Express” starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on the same date.
In recent times, gangster film like “Shootout at Wadala” hit the theatre and was loved by the audiences.
