Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has made one more career achievement by joining the jury panel of 66th edition of Cannes Internationl Film Festival. She will now share the chair with other jury members that contains big names like Hollywood star Nicole Kidman, director Ang Lee and jury president Steven Spielberg.
The 66th edition of Cannes Internationl Film Festival will start May 15.
The jury will select the nominated films in competition section for the awards and the final names will be announced on May 26, the closing day of the fest, said a statement on the official website of the film fest.
Eight international movie personalities will help Spielberg award the prizes.
The other names on the jury panel includes Japanese director Naomi Kawase, British scriptwriter-director-producer Lynne Ramsay, French actor-director Daniel Auteuil, Taiwanese director-producer-scriptwriter Ang Lee, Romanian scriptwriter-director-producer Cristian Mungiu and Austrian actor Christopher Waltz.
