John Abraham's second venture as producer, "Madras Cafe" is moving ahead of schedule and John wants to keep it that way.
He is hoping to finish this upcoming movie much in advance so that he could schedule it for a monsoon release.
John said, "We are shooting at the moment. We should finish by the 23rd of this month (March). We will finish way in advance. We will release the film by August 30".
Madras Cafe is being directed by Shoojit Sircar. It stars Nargis Fakhri in the lead role. This film is being shot in Sri Lanka, South India and Delhi.
John is said to be playing an intelligence agent in the political thriller.
There were reports of John trying to rope in Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for the film, but he denied it.
"Mohanlal is not a part of the film. But I can say for sure that we have an eclectic cast".
"Madras Cafe" is John's next production venture after super hit "Vicky Donor".
