The 70th Golden Globe awards 2013 has been declared on Sunday night amid hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the helm. Ben Affleck directed "Argo" won the top honour by winning the 'Best Motion Picture Award - Drama'.
Ben also won the Best Director award for it.
"Les Miserables" won the 'Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy' award along with two other top awards, raising the number to three awards, the highest in this event.
Hugh Jackman won the 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy' for "Les Miserables" while Anne Hathaway won the 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture' award.
There is two good news for India as "Life of Pi" and "Silver Linings Playbook" won one award each in 'Best Original Score - Motion Picture' and 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy' category. Indian actor Irrfan Khan and Anupam Kher have worked the above films respectively.
"Brave" grabbed the 'Best Animated Film' award while "Amour" became the 'Best Foreign Language Film' award.
"Homeland" won the 'Best Television Series – Drama' award.
Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for movie "Lincoln" directed by Steven Spielberg.
Jessica Chastain won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for "Zero Dark Thirty" award.
