The health condition of Wrestler-actor Dara Singh continues to decline regularly leading to a critical condition. Doctors at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai where he is undergoing dialysis reported a significant damage to his brain.
"His condition is still very critical. MRI is showing significant damage to brain due to decreased oxygen supply to brain when he had the cardiac arrest," Ram Narain, COO, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, told IANS Wednesday morning.
"His condition is not good at all," his son Vindu Dara Singh said.
Earlier, Dara Singh was hospitalied on Saturday where his close friends including Dharmendra, Raza Murad and Farah Khan came to visit him at the hospital.
Dara Singh, who won the title of "Rustam-e-Hind" for his wrestling prowess, made his debut in the film world in 1952 with “Sangdil".
Some of his memorable movies include names like "Watan Se Door", ""Rustom-E-Baghdad", "Sher Dil", "Sikandar E Azam", "Raaka", "Mera Naam Joker", "Dharam Karam" and "Mard". Lastly, he was seen to act in 2007 release "Jab We Met".
Dara also played the iconic role of Hanuman in Ramanand sagar’s "Ramayan" which is still unforgettable.
