News that many were waiting and were expecting has finally arrived with Sharmila Tagore (mother of Saif Ali Khan) finally confirming on the date of the biggest Bollywood wedding of this year.
In an interview to a daily newspaper she confirmed the date to be October 16 this year and said, "Yes, that's the date we have decided upon, there will be a reception, too, but not a very big one". For long people have been speculating over the marriage of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and now with the official confirmation they would be happy.
Kareena is expected to continue her acting even after the marriage and she will be acting in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Ram Leela".
Wedding might be a low-key affair and will take place at Pataudi's ancestral home. It will be attended by close members of both the families.
Whole Kapoor family will attend the wedding and have agreed it to be a low profile one following Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi (Saif's father) recent death.
Saif and Kareena are not the big couples to tie the knot this year, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also getting married.
