Salma Hayek's billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault has reached an agreement with the supermodel, who had filed for child support. This agreement has ended the legal battle.
Linda Evangelista and French businessman Pinault's attorneys said nothing about the details of the agreement, which they formulated to give to a magistrate on Tuesday, says a report of CBS News.
The agreement was reached in the middle of a trial over how much Pinault should pay for the care of their 5-year-old son.
Both Pinault and supermodel Evangelista had testified at the trial, and had answered the queries regarding her career, his high-flying finances and his limited relationship with the 5 year old.
The supermodel had said that she was spending 46,000 dollars-a-month on armed bodyguards, a 24-hour-a-day nanny and other expenses for the boy, Augustin, nicknamed Augie.
The baby was born in 2006 after a four-month relationship; Pinault said he and Evangelista spent only about seven days together in all.
Evangelista's lawyer said she willingly paid all the child's expenses at first, but she requires some help to look after the child.
