The 48 year old actor, who essayed the character of prize-fighting gypsy Mickey O'Neil in the 2000 Guy Ritchie film 'Snatch', is reportedly in talks for the role in this movie.

"It's a fascinating story and will translate really well into a film," a source has been quoted saying in the Daily Star.

"Paddy knows that Brad Pitt is interested after playing a traveler in Snatch.

"My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding is shown in the US and Brad has seen it.

"Paddy would love Brad to play him in a Hollywood film. It could well catapult him into a global superstar," the source said further.
