Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah has been named working president of the National Conference by his father central minister Farooq Abdullah. There have been major changes occurred and top posts of the party has been reorganized.
Central Minister and his father Farooq Abdullah announced in Jammu that Omar Abdullah will be the working president of the party. Abdullah's cousin Sheikh Nazir Ahmad will be the party's general secretary. His younger brother Sheikh Mustafa Kamal has been made the additional secretary.
However Kamal was given the post in October and also made the spokesperson for the party but he was removed from the post for some statement against Congress party, which is a coalition partner for the National Conference./p>
