International pop sensation and youth icon Katy Perry sizzles in opening ceremony of Indian Premier League 2012 at YMCA ground in Chennai on April 03, 2012 in pure desi style.
Wearing brocade sleeveless blouse and almost transparent, pink-coloured lowers with sequined work, Katy was devised in as an Indian bride like decorating maang tika and bindis on head and forehead respectively.
Her international back singers too carried the Indian flavour by flaunting saris.
Katy Perry (27) was the star attraction of IPL 2012, the fifth edition of fast food form of cricket.
She sang "Teenage dream" to the packed audience, already smitten with performances by Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, Prabhudeva and Colonial Cousins.
The first match of IPL -5 is scheduled to begin between the finalists of fourth edition of Indian Premier League Chennai Super King (Winner) and IPL-4 runner up Mumbai Indians (Runner up).
