New Delhi, Sat, 14 Apr 2012 NI Wire

RWA's appeal to people for casting their vote against the party could be create trouble for the BJP and Congress in the MCD elections going to be held on Sunday. RWA association has said the people of Delhi to come forward and choose only clean and honest candidates in the election and avoid party line systems.

Anil Bajpai, president, Delhi Resident's Forum and RWA Federation, Delhi East said that most of the elections in the country were held on the party system but the results is before us. Now it is a chance where people have option to choose the right candidate irrespective from the party line. Corruption and money power is not a new thing for our system but people have the chance to choose bye them.

Bajpai said that if an independent candidate is more trustworthy and promising, we are certainly going to vote for him. Overall it is the duty of the RWAs to see that clean elections are held in Delhi and clean candidates elected by putting the candidate's profile and conduct above his political affiliation.

Many people have shown their annoyance against the candidates from political parties. People said that they have given chance to all the parties but results are before us and certainly not satisfactory.

Although, it could be difficult for both BJP and Congress as former is ruling the MCD whereas Congress in Delhi assembly.
