Owais wicket by Malinga turned the match for MI

First ball of 14.1 over saw the off stump coming out of ground for Owais shah and it turned the game in favor of Mumbai Indians. Lasith Malinga was the man who took MI out of the crisis once again by his lethal yorker.

Mumbai Indians in a match played against Rajasthan Royals in Wankhede stadium yesterday marked a 27 run win thanks to spectacular all round performance by Pollard. He was named man of the match.

Loosing the toss MI were forced to bat first and they amassed a huge total of 197, main contributors were Pollard (64) and Rayudu (47). Amit and Brad Hogg took 2 wickets each.

After a great performance with bat, Pollard showed his bowling skills and took 4 wickets along with Munaf Patel who also took the same number of wickets. But it was Malinga who dismissed the danger man Owais Shah who was looking in supern touch while his 76 runs innings. Rajsthan were on their way with him but a yorker did the trick and Mumbai Indians gained the two points.
