Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that a separate Telangana state is inevitable and party would continue to fight for the cause. Senior party leader and leader of Oopposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj has said that while the continuing suicides reflect the growing frustration of the youth of Telangana over the betrayal of the government, suicide is never a solution to the problem. Telangana people have had the history of bravery and courage.
Sushma said that the BJP coming to power is imminent and Telangana formation is inevitable. She appeals to Telangana people not to resort to suicide under any circumstances. She added that the struggle for separate Telangana has a history of more than five decades and the people of Telangana are now on the verge of realising it.
She alleged Congress and said that polemical stances of certain political parties, specially the Congress, are the reason for the delay in the formation of a Telangana state. Youth should have faith in the party and it will fight for the separate Telangana.
It is noted that the issue has disrupted Lok Sabha for consecutive third days and at least two people have committed suicide in the last few days for the cause.
