A hindu rightwing activist Swami Aseemanand, an accused of Mecca Masjid blast, on Wednesday denied to know RSS worker Kamal Chauhan, one of the prime accused of Samjhauta Express bomb blast case 2007 when police confronted him before the a district court in Haryana.

The National Investigating Agency (NIA), which has arrested Kamal few days ago today produced him in Panchkula district court before the judge, where Swami Aseemanand was brought to identify Kamal, as according to NIA, Assemanad has also linked to Samjhuta Express and Ajmer bomb blast case, both held in 2007.

Denying to identify Kamal, Assemanand said, "Main nahin jaanta Kamal Chauhan Kaun hai......yeh sab NIA ki saajish hai (I don't know who Kamal Chauhan is, all this is a conspiracy of the NIA)."

Kamal Chauhan, an RSS worker had earlier claimed that he had planted bombs on Samjhauta Express bound to Pakistan. The blasts occurred in two bogies and left 68 people dead, in which most of them were Pakistanis. They were returning to their native land.

Aseemanand, a member of Abhinav Bharat, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Nov 19, 2010 from Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

When Police presented him before the court, he reportedly had accepted his involvement in the Mecca Masjid bomb blast case held on May 18, 2007 in which 14 people were reported dead at the moment and five were killed in police firing in the move of controlling the mob.

Later, Assemanand denied his any sort of connection to any bomb blast.

He accused NIA for mentally and physically torturing and pressurizing him to accept his involvement in this case.
