Salman Khan while releasing the trailer of Fevicol se on Bigg Boss said that "Dabangg 2" is not a copy of the first film and the audience should consider it as a movie after interval.
Salman said, "It's not the same. We are not copying and giving you the same picture. It's a different film".
"Consider Dabangg as part one as the one before interval and Dabangg 2 as after the interval," he added.
"Dabangg was of a particular genre and now a similar genre film is coming out Dabangg 2," he said.
47-year-old is using the platform of Bigg Boss, of which he is the host to promote his upcoming movie.
"I am the host of 'Bigg Boss'. Wherever I get time and wherever the channel feels that 'Dabangg 2' promotions can be done, they do it," he says.
Kareena Kapoor also came to launch the trailer of her item song in the film. It is the first time she has done pelvic thrust in a song. The song is already creating much buzz over the Internet.
Dabangg 2 is the directorial debut of Arbaaz Khan who will also be seen playing the role of Makhi in the film. Film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and will release on theatres on December 21 2012.
