1960 was the year when a 6-year-old hyperactive boy acted in a film named Kalathur Kannamma. 51 years and more then 200 films later, that boy is going to be lead actor in Vishwaroop, most expensive Indian film till date.

Kamal will next be seen in Vishwaroop (Hindi) or (Vishwaroopam) in Tamil. The film will release on 14 January 2013.

Born on 7 November 1954, Kamal faced the camera at the tender age when other kids enter school. He went on to work with in more then 200 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
He worked with lead actors like Rajnikanth, Sridevi, Jayaprada, Poonam Dhillon, Tabu, Hema Malini and many others.
He defined every character very meticulously, he portrayed different characters even the negative one and is arguably the most versatile actor of Indian cinema.
He has won 4 National Film Awards and 19 Filmfare Awards.
