Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is directed, co produced, co written by Vishal Bharadwaj. This film will be a madcap comedy.

If rumors are to be believed Ajay Devgan and Shahid were the first and second choice for the film but it went to Imran finally.

Vishal has directed films like Makdee, Maqbool, The Blue Umbrella, Kaminey and 7 Khoon Maaf. He was also the writer of Ishiqya. The trailer has already created much hype over the Internet and much is expected from this film.

Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola will release on 11 January 2013.
