Today when Saif Ali Khan (42) and Kareena Kapoor (32) completed the formalities of a registered marriage, a new bond was formed between a royal family and considered first family of Bollywood.
The marriage took place on Tuesday afternoon at Saif's Bandra home. Kareena wore a green punjabi suit while Saif chose to dress up in a grey kurta-pyjama.
While Kareena's mother Babita and father Randhir Kapoor signed as witnesses from the bride's side, Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore signed as a witness from the groom's side. Kareena's sister Karisma and cousin Ranbir Kapoor were also present in the wedding.
Saif and Kareena dated for 5 years before getting married.
When they first started dating in 2007, Saif was overcoming from Rosa Catalano a Swiss model while Kareena was on the verge of a breakup with Shahid Kapoor. Saif has two children from first marriage with Amrita Singh: Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan. They divorced in the year 2004.
Though they had worked together in LOC Kargil, it was until Omkara that the couple was rumored of dating. In 2008 during the filming of Tashan, Saif first time and officially spoke about the relationship. His tattoo Kareena on his hand also became a hot topic.
From then nothing separated the two and they received the name Saifeena from their fans and media.
