London, April 19 (ANI): Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams has filed a lawsuit accusing a castmate's personal assistant of slapping her during a taping of the reality show.

Williams claims she is still suffering from a neck injury and post traumatic stress since she was attacked by Nia Crooks, a personal assistant and close friend of Basketball Wives co-star Evelyn Lozada, the Daily Mail reported.

The incident, which aired on Monday, happened when television channel VH1 were filming the group on January 21 in the presidential suite of the Gulfstream Park racetrack in South Florida.

The women are seen sitting at a large table eating food when Crooks, wearing a maxidress with a blue peacock pattern and sunglasses, starts shouting at Williams 'Why don't you show the f***** world who you really are.'

Williams carries on eating, refusing to be baited by Crooks, which incenses her further.

She then makes a remark about slapping Williams saying 'Do you need to be slapped in your f****** face to realise the situation?'

To which Williams, wearing a pink lace dress, replies nonchalantly 'Yeah, yeah I really wish you would.'

Crooks then rises from her chair and stomps around to Williams, who is still seated at the table, followed closely by friend Tami who tries to hold her back.

She marches up to her and 'Say are you f******' serious you need a slap?'

She then whacks Williams on the face from behind, who quickly rises from her chair and pushes her back.

The pair then tussle before two members of production crew break the two fighting women up.

Even after they are dragged to separate sides of the room, they continue screaming obscenities at each other and Evelyn is seen jumping over the table in a blue dress.

Although there have been doubts about the authenticity of the slap, Williams denies the incident was scripted. (ANI)
