New Delhi, Apr 6 (ANI): In order to deal with inconvenience caused by three holidays this week, the Finance Ministry on Friday asked all public and private sector banks to operate full day on Saturday.
The banks, which are usually open for public dealings on Saturdays between 10 am and 1 pm, will be open till 5 pm tomorrow for general public to carry out their transactions.
State Bank of India (SBI) has in a notice said that all its branches will remain open till 5 pm tomorrow.
Banks were closed on Monday for their annual closing and it remained closed on Thursday on account of Maharavir Jayanti and for Good Friday today. (ANI)
